Paul Bridwell assumes role as Duraco Specialty Materials CEO.

Duraco Specialty Materials is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Bridwell as Chief Executive Officer effective Monday, November 18, 2024.

Paul joins Duraco Specialty Materials from OpenGate capital where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director. Paul has held senior operating positions for a variety of manufacturing companies over his 35-year career. He has served on Duraco's Board of Directors since 2019. Over that time, he oversaw the company's growth strategy and helped lead the five subsequent acquisitions which comprise the Duraco Specialty Materials platform today.

As he assumes the role of CEO, he will retain his position on the Board, ensuring a seamless transition and continued focus on operational excellence for each of Duraco Specialty Materials' six portfolio companies. His nearterm focus will be supporting the ongoing production improvement plans in each of the businesses and embedding a culture of transparency, trust and accountability.
